Monza Speedometer Warning Light and Oil Pressure Lamp
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Chevrolet Monza displayed a speedometer warning light, error code, and oil pressure lamp at 38,655 kilometers. The issue was suspected to be related to the engine oil temperature sensor, possibly due to a faulty sensor cable or plug. A suggestion was made to check the sensor's resistance and grounding connections, as corrosion could be a factor. The problem was resolved by fixing a bad connection in the sensor circuit, costing 95€.

Thanks for the insight. Could you tell me where that grounding point might be? Where should I look?

Yep, it sounds like the temp sensor. I'd just take it to a workshop and have them check it out. It ended up costing me around 95€ to get sorted when the cable to the sensor had failed.

Thanks for the help. I took it to a technician, and it was a bad connection in the engine oil temperature sensor circuit, just like you said. Cost me 95€ to fix. Problem solved.

Hey, I had similar issues with my Monza. Same warning light and error code. Have you checked the resistance of the sensor itself? It could also be a faulty ground connection. Sometimes those connectors get corroded.
