MOST Bus Fault

I have a 2002 Peugeot Boxer with a gasoline engine at 251823 km. I'm having a weird issue with the MOST bus. No audio output, and the navigation is dead. The error memory shows a fault in the MOST bus architecture. Seems like a control unit defect. Anyone seen this on their Boxer?

I had a similar problem with my Boxer. Audio cutting out and navigation failing sounds very familiar. Have you checked the connections to the control units? Sometimes a loose connection can cause these data transmission errors.

Thanks. Could you say more about which specific connections you mean? Are any control units more prone to causing these issues in the Boxer's MOST bus?

In my case, it was more than a simple connection. Checking connections is a good first step, but I took mine to a workshop specializing in car diagnostics and bus systems. They pinpointed the faulty control unit and replaced it. Given the complexity of the MOST bus, I'd recommend a professional diagnosis to avoid further issues.

Thanks for the advice. A professional diagnosis was the way to go. The issue was a faulty control unit within the MOST bus. The repair cost about 1000€.
