Movano AdBlue problem
Summary of the thread
A 2016 Renault Movano diesel is experiencing an AdBlue problem, indicated by an error on the speedometer and a stored computer error, preventing the engine from starting. The AdBlue tank is empty, and the service light is on, suggesting a possible issue with the AdBlue injection system, such as a defective output from the tank to the dosing unit or a clogged injector nozzle. The recommended solution is to visit a workshop for diagnosis and repair, as the problem could involve several components of the AdBlue system.

The service light IS on! Defective output...how much did that cost you to fix? Was it definitely the output from the tank itself?

Right, so the light confirms the injection system thing. I didn't fix it myself, I'm no mechanic. The workshop diagnosed it pretty quickly. Could be several things, clogged injector nozzle in the exhaust pipe for example. If the output from the tank to the dosing unit is faulty the computer blocks the engine start. They said around 250€ should cover it. I strongly suggest you visit a workshop.

Thanks for the help! I'll take it to a workshop and mention the AdBlue output. Hopefully, it will be a quick fix for the injection system. Wish me luck!

AdBlue issues are a pain! I had similar problems with my Movano. By AdBlue we mean a Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF). Is your service light on too? It sounds like the AdBlue isn't getting injected properly, like the output from the tank to the dosing unit (which injects the fluid) might be defective. That would explain the error and no start.
