Movano alarm malfunction

I'm having trouble with my 2018 Renault Movano diesel. It has 43753 km on the clock. The anti-theft alarm system seems to be malfunctioning. I'm getting an error stored, and the alarm itself isn't working. Has anyone experienced anything similar? I've checked the fuses, but they seem fine.

I had a similar issue with my Movano. Does your alarm seem to be activating the indicator lights when it should be sounding the alarm?

That's interesting. Yes, I think I did notice the indicators flashing when I locked the car, which I thought was normal. Is that connected to the alarm problem?

Yes, on my Movano, the alarm system was coded in a way that it was trying to use the optical locking (indicators) instead of the siren. A workshop should be able to recode it for you.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a workshop, and you were spot on. The alarm system was indeed coded to activate the indicators. They recoded it, and it's working perfectly now. Cost me 45€ Appreciate the help!
