Cheers for the reply! Yep, I plugged in an OBD reader, and it's throwing up codes related to the EGR valve. Just curious, what was the fix in your case? Was it a simple clean, or did you have to replace the valve completely?

No worries! I tried cleaning mine first, but it was properly jammed solid. Think of it like trying to unclog a drain that's completely full of cement – not gonna happen! Ended up having to replace the whole EGR valve unit. Bit of a pain, but it sorted out all the issues. Honestly, with those symptoms, you're probably looking at a replacement too. Best get it to a workshop, they'll be able to confirm it properly and get it sorted.

Thanks for the advice! Booked it in at the workshop. Spot on, EGR valve was toast. Replaced it, cost me 355€ all in. Running like a dream now. Appreciate the help!

Sounds mighty familiar! I've got a Movano, and I had almost identical symptoms a while back. Reduced power, smoke, the whole shebang. Did you check for any fault codes? It really does sound like the EGR valve. It's like the exhaust gases are trying to escape through a blocked pipe, causing all sorts of mayhem with the engine's performance.
