Movano Overheating

I had a similar issue with my Movano some time ago. It's often the simplest things that cause trouble. Have you checked the fan's relay and the temperature sensor? A faulty sensor can send incorrect signals, like a broken thermostat that's stuck open or shut, messing with the cooling system. Also, did you have a look at the coolant level? Low coolant leads to overheating.

In my case, the overheating was more noticeable when idling or in slow traffic, because the fan wasn't kicking in to compensate for the reduced airflow. I couldn't diagnose the problem myself, so I went to a workshop. After some tests, the mechanic found that it was indeed the cable or plug connection of the fan. Better get a professional opinion. It's safer and can save you money in the long run.
