Movano radar sensor failure

I had an almost identical experience with my Movano. Check the sensor itself for any visible grime or obstructions. Road spray can cause this. It's a common problem.

The sensor is located behind the front bumper. It's quite exposed. While cleaning, avoid using anything abrasive. However, it is best to have a workshop check it, because dirt may not be the only possible explanation.

Took your advice and brought the Movano to a local workshop. It turned out that the sensor was indeed just dirty! After a thorough cleaning (costing 45€), the system is now functioning perfectly again. Thank you for your help!
