Movano stiff steering and vibration

I'm experiencing an issue with my 2012 Renault Movano diesel. At around 77778 km, the steering feels heavy, like the power steering is failing sometimes. Plus, the steering wheel vibrates and shakes a lot. Could a bad steering angle sensor cause this?

Sounds familiar! I drive a Movano too. Has there been any recent work on the steering or front suspension?

No, nothing's been done recently to the steering or suspension. Could it really be the steering angle sensor even without any work?

Yep, mine did the same thing. It was the steering angle sensor, needed recalibration. I'd get it checked at a workshop to confirm and recode it.
