Movano System Readiness Check Incomplete Error

I've got a 2021 Renault Movano with a diesel engine, about 88,833 km on the clock. I'm getting a persistent "System readiness check incomplete" error. It's throwing an error code stored in the error memory, and the message is right there in the speedometer display. This all started right after a buddy ran a quick OBD2 diagnostic check. Anyone seen this before? Is my van doomed to fail its vehicle inspection?

I had a similar issue with my Movano. It sounds like your OBD readiness monitors haven't reset properly after the diagnostic scan. Have you tried driving it for an extended period to see if they clear?

Thanks for the quick reply! I've put about 150 km on it since the scan. By 'extended period,' are we talking a specific type of driving cycle, or just general use? Is there a secret Movano handshake I need to perform?

Specific drive cycles can sometimes help, but in my case, the issue persisted. The error memory might require a manual reset. Best to have a workshop check if the readiness can be set through the computer, and if all sensors work correctly.

You were spot on! I took it to a shop, and they confirmed the readiness monitors hadn't reset properly after the OBD2 scan. They did a computer reset, and all is well. The error is gone, and it cost me absolutely nothing! Thanks so much for pointing me in the right direction.
