Murano Hybrid rough idle stalling
Summary of the thread
A 2016 Nissan Murano Hybrid is experiencing rough idling, stalling, and jerking during acceleration, with the check engine light on. A potential cause could be a loose or corroded cable and plug connection on the fuel pressure sensor. Checking and securing this connection resolved similar issues for another Murano owner, and in this case, cleaning and securing the connection at a workshop fixed the problem, restoring smooth operation.

So, the cable and plug connection, that's it? Is it easy to check, or do I need special tools? I'm not really a mechanic, more of a 'YouTube tutorials only' kind of guy.

Well, that was my experience. I'm not saying it's a guaranteed fix, but it's worth a look. If you're not comfortable poking around, I'd suggest taking it to a reliable workshop. Seriously, before you make things worse. It’s like trying to perform open-heart surgery after watching a medical drama.

Thanks for the advice! You were spot on. Turns out the cable was a bit loose and corroded. I took it to a shop; they cleaned everything and secured it properly for 95€. Runs like new now!

Sounds familiar! Something similar happened with my Murano, it drove me nuts. Does it feel like it's not getting enough fuel, like it's hesitating? Check the cable and plug connection on your fuel pressure sensor. That was the culprit for me. It’s like a loose garden hose connection spraying water everywhere.
