Murano ignition error

Alright, gearheads, I'm pulling my hair out! My 2005 Nissan Murano (gas engine) is bricked. Only 43740 km on the clock! The error code points to 'Terminal 15 ignition positive interrupted', and the thing won't even crank. I'm suspecting maybe a dodgy battery terminal or starter solenoid... Could even be a break in the circuit somewhere. Anyone seen this nightmare before?

Sounds frustrating. Have you checked for any obvious voltage drops? A bad relay switch could also cause that. I vaguely remember something similar happening to a friend's older car; turned out to be a corroded connection somewhere.

Voltage drop, eh? Where exactly should I be sticking my multimeter? I'm decent with tools, but tracing electrical gremlins is where I usually get lost...

I'm no expert, but start with the battery terminals and trace the wiring to the starter. If you're not confident, honestly, it's probably best to get it checked out by a pro before you fry something. Could save you money and stress in the long run.

Yeah, you're right. Bit the bullet and took it to a shop. Turns out it was a corroded plug connection, just like the error code suggested. Cost 95€ for the repair. Thanks for the nudge in the right direction!
