Murano No Start
Summary of the thread
A 2002 Nissan Murano was experiencing a no-start issue despite cranking fine, with the owner suspecting an engine control malfunction. After confirming the fuel pump and spark plugs were functioning, attention turned to the battery connections. Cleaning and tightening the battery cable connections resolved the issue, leading to successful ignition.

Interesting. By 'properly', do you mean just cleaning the terminals or something more involved? I gave them a quick wipe, but maybe that wasn't enough.

More than a quick wipe. I disconnected the cables completely, cleaned the terminals and the cable connectors with a wire brush until they were shiny, and then reconnected everything tightly. If that doesn't solve it, you might be looking at something more serious and should probably get it to a workshop.

You were spot on. Cleaned the battery connections as you suggested, and she fired right up. Cost me 155€ at the garage to get them to do it. Thanks!

I had a similar problem with my Murano. For me, it turned out to be corroded battery cable connections. Have you properly cleaned and tightened them? Sometimes it's not obvious, and a little resistance can mess with the ECU.
