N300 System Readiness Error
Summary of the thread
A 2016 Chevrolet N300 owner encountered a 'System readiness check incomplete' error after using an OBD2 scanner. This issue may arise from the car's computer needing to complete a drive cycle to reset emissions monitors. A suggested solution is to drive the vehicle for a certain distance, combining city and highway driving, to allow the system to reset. Alternatively, visiting a workshop for a professional check can resolve the error, as confirmed by the owner who had the issue cleared without cost.

Interesting. No, I didn't disconnect the battery. When you say 'driving it for a bit,' how much driving are we talking about? Any specific kind of driving, like highway vs. city? And what exactly should I expect to happen? Will the error just disappear?

Okay, not disconnecting the battery makes it easier to reset the system. In my case the error message disappeared on its own after about 80 km of mixed driving (city and highway). However, if you need to go for an emissions test anytime soon, I would suggest taking it to a workshop. They will likely re-run the OBD2 diagnostics and perform a check to make sure the emissions values are OK.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to the workshop as you suggested and they checked it. Turns out that the error could be cleared without cost because the car didn't have an inspection in its history. The car now runs well.

I had something similar happen with my N300. It sounds like your car's computer needs to complete a drive cycle to reset the emissions monitors. Sometimes just clearing codes with an OBD2 scanner doesn't fully reset everything. Have you tried driving it for a bit to see if the error clears itself? Also, did you disconnect the battery at any point?
