N400 ABS Speed Signal Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Chevrolet N400 is experiencing intermittent ABS lamp activation and traction issues, with a diagnostic scan indicating a speed signal fault. The problem may be linked to a defective ABS control unit, especially since the speedometer also shows erratic behavior. A similar case suggested that while initial diagnostics pointed to a speed sensor error, the ABS control unit was ultimately identified as the issue. The recommended solution is to have the vehicle properly diagnosed and repaired at a reliable workshop.

Thanks for the quick reply! Yes, now that you mention it, the speedometer does seem to fluctuate a bit sometimes. It's not constant, but I have noticed it. What was the eventual fix for your N400, and did the diagnostic specifically point to the control unit?

Yep, pretty much the same symptoms then. The diagnostics pointed towards a speed sensor error first, but it turned out the ABS control unit was the real culprit. To be honest, I'd just take it to a reliable workshop. It will save you some time, as it needs to be properly diagnosed.

Thanks a lot for confirming that! I'll take it to a workshop and have them check the ABS control unit. I was quoted around 1000€ for the repair, so I hope they don't find anything else. At least now I know what to expect. Cheers!

I had something similar happen in my N400. Is your speedometer also acting erratically? If so, it could definitely be the ABS control unit. When mine went, the whole system was haywire.
