Good shout on the emissions, hadn't really paid close attention there. I will check it tomorrow. But yes, it does sound louder than usual. So, if it was your injection nozzle, what was the fix?

Well, I tried fuel additives at first, but no dice. Symptoms kept coming back pretty fast. Ended up being a defective injection nozzle. I'd strongly suggest getting it checked out by a workshop. That's my 2 cents.

Appreciate the insights! Looks like I'll bite the bullet and take it to a workshop. I'll let you know what happens. In the end it was indeed a defective injection nozzle. Got them replaced and the problem vanished. Repair cost: 515€ Thanks again!

NAVARA

Sounds rough. I had similar issues with my Navara, symptoms definitely ring a bell. Poor starting, rough idling... Did you notice any difference in emissions, maybe a stronger smell or anything like that? Could very well be the injection. Is the engine noticeably louder than it used to be?
