NBox check engine light air valve issue
Summary of the thread
The conversation revolves around a check engine light issue on a 2021 Honda N-Box, suspected to be caused by a defective air valve hose connection. Erratic manifold pressure suggests a possible vacuum leak, prompting advice to inspect vacuum hoses for cracks or loose connections. The recommended solution is to visit a workshop for proper diagnosis and repair, which was confirmed as effective after replacing the valve and vacuum hose.

Manifold pressure does seem erratic. Inspect all vacuum hoses for leaks? Where should I look, and what am I looking for? Cracks, loose connections?

Yes, inspect all the vacuum hoses closely for cracks, wear, or disconnection. Given the erratic manifold pressure, it might be best to bring it to a workshop for proper diagnosis. It's frustrating.

Thanks! A workshop visit sounds right. Had the valve and vacuum hose replaced, and the bill was 175€. Knowing others have had similar issues helps.

Sounds familiar! Manifold pressure acting strangely? I had a similar check engine light and it was a vacuum leak. Check your vacuum hoses and air supply.
