Nemo Thermostat Issue

I'm seeing signs of a bad thermostat in my 2015 Citroen Nemo with a gasoline engine, now at 106463 km. Engine's overheating and takes too long to warm up. I suspect the MAP-controlled thermostat. Cooling fan works, no coolant leaks. Any ideas before I replace it?

I had something similar with my Nemo. Coolant level was fine, so have you checked the water pump? If that's okay, I'd also guess thermostat. What readings are you getting from the temperature sensor?

What temperature sensor parameters should I monitor to check the thermostat? Where is the temperature sensor located on the Nemo?

Monitor the coolant temperature with an OBD-II scanner and see if the thermostat opens at the right temperature. If it's too high before opening, that suggests a problem. The sensor is probably on the thermostat housing, but check the service manual. If unsure, take it to a workshop.

Sounds like a defective thermostat. I'll replace it. My workshop quoted 350€ for parts and labor. Thanks for the help.
