Nissan Dayz fuel flap issue

Fuel flap issues, eh? I had something similar happen with my Dayz. Was it the key fob release not working, or could it be the release mechanism itself? Did it store an error?

I have checked for error codes and there is one stored. Where you also not able to unlock/lock the flap?

Yup, I remember it now. Same symptoms. No more locking or unlocking the fuel flap. Error stored in the error memory. Sounds like a defective linkage – if your car even has one. I ended up taking it to a workshop. The repair was around 210€

Looks like I'm heading to the workshop as well. Turns out the defective linkage was the culprit, just as you suspected. Replaced it, and everything's back to normal. Appreciate the insight!
