Nissan Fuga CEL VANOS Issue

The CEL is pretty consistent, comes on within a few minutes of driving. No odd noises that I can hear. Oil changes have been regular, yeah, but could sludge still be the culprit, even with that?

However, considering the consistent CEL illumination and absence of unusual noises, a defective camshaft solenoid valve or a power supply interruption to the VANOS actuator are more probable. Thanks for the input. Turns out it was indeed the camshaft solenoid valve. Cost me 250€ at the workshop, but the Fuga is running smooth again.
