Nissan Kicks transmission issues
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Nissan Kicks owner reported transmission issues, including warning lights, emergency mode activation, gearbox slippage, and grinding noises. The error memory indicated a radiator oil pressure defect, suggesting a potential issue with a cable or plug connection. Another individual suggested checking for coolant leaks and inspecting the cooling system. Ultimately, the problem was identified as a faulty plug at the pressure sensor, which was resolved at a workshop.

Thanks for the quick reply. No visible coolant leak. Where exactly should I check the cable and plug connections related to the radiator oil pressure sensor?

Confirming the radiator oil pressure sensor. Check around the radiator and transmission areas. Honestly, given the symptoms and error code, I'd suggest getting it to a workshop. Could save you time and potentially prevent further damage. My local shop checked it with leak detection tools.

Thanks. I'll book an appointment at the workshop. They found it: faulty plug at the pressure sensor, total repair cost 95€. Appreciate your help!

I had something similar happen with my Kicks. Any coolant leak? Have you checked the cooling fan or cooling system? The pressure gauge might also give some insight. It could be a simple connection issue, but don't rule out a small coolant leak causing pressure issues.
