Nissan Sunny Injection Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2007 Nissan Sunny diesel is experiencing increased fuel consumption, reduced power, stalling at idle, and smoking during acceleration, suggesting an injection system issue. The problem may be due to loose or corroded electrical connectors to the fuel injectors. Checking and securing these connectors is recommended as a first step. Ultimately, a faulty connector was identified and repaired at a workshop, resolving the issue.

Thanks! By 'connection to the fuel injectors', do you mean the electrical connectors or the fuel lines? Do you remember any specific injector being the problem?

I meant the electrical connectors. I didn't check any specific injector, just all of them. If wiggling the connectors doesn't change how the engine runs, you may need a workshop.

I checked all the electrical connectors to the fuel injectors like you said, but it didn't fix it. I took it to a workshop, and it was a faulty connector. It cost 95€ to repair. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

Sounds like what happened with my Sunny. Have you checked the connection to the fuel injectors themselves? They can get loose or corroded and cause intermittent problems. Worth a look before going deeper.
