Noah central locking failure
Summary of the thread
The central locking system of a 2021 Toyota Noah failed at 99765 km, with doors refusing to lock or unlock and an error stored in the memory. The initial suspicion was a defective cable or plug connection. After ruling out a key fob battery issue, the problem was identified as a corroded connector in the central locking module, which was resolved by cleaning at a workshop.

Good call on the key fob, I should've thought of that! I swapped out the battery, but no dice. Still nothing. As for the keyless entry, that's dead too. Does that point to a deeper problem, maybe something with the security system itself?

Since the battery swap didn't resolve it and keyless entry is also non-functional, it does seem like more than just a key fob issue. From my experience, and considering the error memory, I'd recommend getting it checked at a workshop. It could be related to the likely cause you mentioned: Cable or plug connection of the component defective.

You were spot on! Took it to the local shop, and it turned out to be a corroded connector in the central locking module. They cleaned it up, and everything's working perfectly again. Cost me 95€. Thanks for the advice – really appreciate it!

I have a Noah too, and I experienced similar central locking issues. Did you check the key fob battery? Sometimes a weak battery can cause intermittent problems with the remote locking system. Also, does the keyless entry work, or is it completely dead?
