My 2019 Fiat Novo, gasoline engine, is overheating and takes forever to warm up with 84946 km on the clock! Thinking it might be the thermostat cooling circuit motor. Anyone else run into this? Could it be a coolant leak or the water pump?

I have a Fiat Novo too. I had similar overheating issues a while back. Was the thermostat housing checked?

Thermostat housing? I haven't checked that specifically. What were your symptoms exactly, and did it also take ages for your engine to warm up? What was the final diagnosis?

Yeah, slow warm-up and overheating were my main symptoms. My mechanic said it was the thermostat. I'd recommend getting it checked at a workshop.

Thanks! I'll definitely get the thermostat checked ASAP. I'll take it to a trusted workshop. I had a hunch it might be the map thermostat anyway. They quoted me around 350€ for the repair, so fingers crossed that fixes it!
