NX hands free microphone failure

I have a 2019 Lexus NX hybrid, and recently the hands-free microphone seems to have stopped working. Telephony is no longer possible. I scanned it and there's an error stored in the error memory, though I don't have the specific code at hand. I've tried adjusting the volume control and checking the wireless connection, even toggling speech recognition settings, but nothing seems to fix it. Bluetooth is connected normally. Any thoughts?

I had something similar happen in my NX. Is ambient noise unusually high during calls, or is the other user unable to hear you at all?

Thanks for the reply! No, ambient noise seems normal, and that's a good question. The other party can't hear me at all. It's as if the microphone is completely muted. Did yours behave the same way?

Yes, exactly the same symptoms. Sadly, it turned out to be a defective infotainment system. My local workshop confirmed it. I would suggest you visit your local workshop to have it properly diagnosed. They quoted me 815€ for the repair.
