Optra door lock failure

Good day. I'm experiencing an issue with my 2017 Chevrolet Optra (gasoline engine). At 170292 km, the doors can no longer be locked or unlocked. I suspect a faulty door contact signal. Has anyone encountered something similar? I’m assuming it's a defective cable or plug connection.

I had a similar problem with my Optra. Check the door sensor, or door switch. Seems like a common electrical issue.

Thanks for the quick reply. Can you be more specific regarding the door switch you mentioned? Was it affecting all vehicle doors in your case?

Yes, it affected all doors. To be honest, I didn't investigate myself. I just took it to the workshop, because I didn't want to mess with the car's electronics.

Understood. I appreciate the insight; will check the door latch and electrical connections. Had the same issue; defective cable. Repair cost was 95€. Thanks again!
