Optra door lock failure
Summary of the thread
A 2017 Chevrolet Optra owner is experiencing a door lock failure at 170,292 km, suspecting a faulty door contact signal. The issue might be due to a defective cable or plug connection. Another person with a similar problem suggested checking the door sensor or switch, as it could be a common electrical issue affecting all doors. The owner plans to inspect the door latch and electrical connections, having previously resolved a similar issue with a defective cable.

Thanks for the quick reply. Can you be more specific regarding the door switch you mentioned? Was it affecting all vehicle doors in your case?

Yes, it affected all doors. To be honest, I didn't investigate myself. I just took it to the workshop, because I didn't want to mess with the car's electronics.

Understood. I appreciate the insight; will check the door latch and electrical connections. Had the same issue; defective cable. Repair cost was 95€. Thanks again!

I had a similar problem with my Optra. Check the door sensor, or door switch. Seems like a common electrical issue.
