Orlando fuel flap issue
Summary of the thread
A 2016 Chevrolet Orlando owner is experiencing a malfunctioning fuel flap release, accompanied by an error message and other minor car issues. The problem is identified as a defective linkage, a common issue with this model. The recommended solution is to have the vehicle inspected and repaired at a workshop, which typically costs around 210€.

Interesting! So, the flap just wouldn't budge? Did you also notice other systems acting wonky at the same time?

Exactly! The flap was completely jammed. If I remember correctly, the other issues were minor annoyances but there nonetheless. Given the symptoms, and if the diagnosis points to a defective linkage, which seems plausible, I'd strongly suggest getting it checked out by a workshop. The cost might be around 210€.

Right, thanks for the confirmation and suggestion. I'll book it in. Turns out it was the linkage and that cost me indeed 210€! Cheers!

Oh dear, that sounds familiar! I own an Orlando as well, although not a 2016. I had similar issues with my fuel filler flap a while back – locking and unlocking became impossible. It was quite frustrating!
