Oxygen Sensor Issue NBox
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Honda NBox is experiencing a check engine light and increased fuel consumption, with error codes pointing to an oxygen sensor issue. Possible causes include a defective cable or plug connection, or a failing oxygen sensor. The solution involves diagnosing the problem at a workshop, where a faulty O2 sensor and corroded connector were identified and replaced, resolving the issue.

I haven't checked the air-fuel ratio specifically, but I suspect it's off given the fuel consumption. Did you also have issues with the exhaust sensor readings? And how did you solve it?

Yes, the exhaust sensor readings were erratic. I ended up having it diagnosed at a workshop. Turned out to be a faulty O2 sensor, including a corroded connector. They replaced the sensor, cleaned up the connector, and the problem was solved. Just go to the workshop!

Thanks for the advice. I had it checked, and indeed it was the O2 sensor and a corroded connection, just like you said. Replaced and repaired for 95€. Runs like new!

I've seen similar problems with my NBox. Check engine light, same error code, and a noticeable dip in fuel economy. I would suspect a bad connection or the sensor itself is failing. Is the air-fuel ratio all over the place?
