Palio fault memory lock active
Summary of the thread
The issue with the 2010 Fiat Palio was a 'fault memory lock active' error stored in the error memory. A possible cause identified was an undervoltage problem, which can prevent the error from clearing and affect vehicle performance. The suggested solution was to have the car checked by a workshop, where technicians resolved the electrical issue and unlocked the memory.

Thanks. You mention undervoltage, that's interesting. Could you be more specific? What did you do to solve it, and can you remember more details about the error you were encountering?

Yes, the undervoltage was definitely the root cause in my case. The error code wouldn't clear, and the car felt sluggish. To be honest, I didn't do much troubleshooting myself. I took it straight to a workshop because the computer stuff is too complicated for me. They sorted it out pretty quickly, but it did cost me a bit.

Thanks for sharing! I took the car to the workshop as you suggested. The technicians found that the undervoltage was activating the memory lock. After fixing the electrical problem and unlocking the memory, I was charged 240€.

Hey! I think I can relate to that. I had a similar problem with my Palio, it was some undervoltage issue. The error wouldn't clear even after restarting the car. Did you check your battery? Is it the original?
