Palio fuel level sensor fault
Summary of the thread
A 2011 Fiat Palio experienced a check engine light and occasional stalling at idle, with error codes indicating a fuel level sensor fault. The fuel gauge was erratic, sometimes showing incorrect fuel levels. The suggested solution was to have the sensor checked and potentially replaced at a workshop. After replacing the sensor, the issue was resolved.

Yeah, the fuel gauge reading is jumpy. Sometimes it reads full when it's not, or empty when I know I have fuel. Did yours stall too?

Exactly! It was driving me nuts. Stalling happened too, especially when idling. I'd suggest getting it checked at a workshop; they'll probably replace the sensor inside the fuel tank.

Thanks! Workshop confirmed it was the fuel level sensor. Repair cost 52€. All good now!

I had something similar happen in my Palio! The fuel gauge was all over the place. Is your fuel gauge acting erratically on the car dashboard?
