Palio Rough Idle Jerking

I'm having trouble with my 2003 Fiat Palio (gasoline engine). The check engine light comes on sometimes. Also, the engine runs rough, stalls when idling, and jerks when I accelerate. It has 158272 km on it. The first check said it might be a bad fuel pressure sensor. Could a bad cable or plug connection be the problem?

I had similar problems on my Palio. Rough idle and jerking for sure. Did you check the fuel injector connections? Could be that.

Yeah, the fuel injector connections should be looked at. Are you saying you had the same problem with the fuel pressure sensor wiring on your Palio?

I didn't check the wiring myself, but the shop said there was a problem with a sensor. They said the fuel pressure sensor was giving weird readings because of a bad connection. Worth checking, maybe go to a shop to get it checked.

Got it. Thanks for the info. Like you said, I checked the connections. Turns out there was a bad cable. Cost 95€ to fix. Thanks for the help!
