Panda control unit programming issue

I'm freaking out! My 2017 Fiat Panda with a gasoline engine is throwing a fit. Error messages, weird electrical stuff, and the sat nav is totally dead. The onboard diagnostics say it's probably a control unit programming issue. Anyone else seen this?

Summary of the thread

A 2017 Fiat Panda with a gasoline engine is experiencing error messages, electrical issues, and a non-functional sat nav, likely due to a control unit programming problem. Similar issues have been resolved by performing a software refresh on the control module. Reprogramming the control unit is suggested as a solution, which successfully fixed the problem in this case.

Whoa, sounds rough! I've got a Panda too, and I had something similar happen last year. Was it just totally random?

Yeah, completely out of the blue! One minute everything's fine, the next it's like the car's possessed. What exactly was up with yours?

Mine was doing the same thing. Different errors, but definitely electrical gremlins. I took it straight to a workshop; they said it needed a software refresh on the control module. Best to get it checked!

I appreciate the advice. I'll book it in. Turns out the control unit programming was implausible and they had to reprogram it. Cost me 240€ but at least it's fixed!
