Wiring fault, huh? I'll take a look, but where exactly should I be looking? Is it just a loose connection or something more obvious?

Could be a loose connection, corrosion or even a broken wire inside the insulation. But honestly, I wouldn't gamble too much time on it. I ended up taking mine to a workshop; these issues can be tricky to diagnose properly without the right tools.

Thanks for the heads-up! Took it to the shop, and you were spot on - faulty wiring in the door. Cost me 95€ to get it sorted. Appreciate the advice!

Sounds familiar! Had something similar happen with my old Opel Corsa. Ever checked the cable or plug connection of the door mechanism? Could be a wiring fault. Is the car showing any other weird symptoms?
