Panda No GPS Reception
Summary of the thread
A 2017 Fiat Panda is experiencing a "No GPS reception" issue, potentially due to a defective GPS antenna. Despite no visible damage or recent accidents, the problem persists, and an error is stored in the system. Refreshing the navigation software might help, but the likely solution involves visiting a workshop to confirm the diagnosis and possibly replace the antenna.

Thanks! No accidents, and the antenna base looks fine. I haven't refreshed the software. Can I do that myself, or do I need special equipment?

Given the error stored and your visual inspection, the antenna itself is likely faulty. Refreshing the software might help, but a defective antenna won't be fixed that way. I'd recommend a workshop visit. They can confirm the diagnosis and replace the antenna. They might check the GPS module too.

Thanks a lot for your help! I suspected the antenna. I'll take it to a workshop as you suggested. They quoted around 200€ for the antenna replacement, so hopefully, that'll solve it.

That sounds like a GPS antenna issue. Has the car been in an accident recently, or have you noticed any damage to the antenna base on the roof? Have you tried refreshing the navigation software? That can resolve odd glitches sometimes.
