Partner AC and Temperature Sensor Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2004 Peugeot Partner was experiencing issues with the air conditioning not switching on and error messages appearing on the speedometer. The mechanic suspected a defective temperature sensor heat exchanger, possibly due to a faulty air conditioning control unit. After taking the vehicle to a workshop, the problem was confirmed to be the temperature sensor, which was replaced and recalibrated, resolving the issue.

Coolant levels seem okay, and no visible leaks. Engine temp seems normal too. Was your problem also related to the temperature sensor, or something else entirely? Did you need a sensor calibration?

Turns out, yeah, it was the temp sensor causing all sorts of havoc! Honestly, after a while, I just took it to the workshop. Best decision I made. They sorted it quickly. Might be worth doing the same before you end up chasing ghosts. Cooling system issues can be a real pain!

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a workshop, and you were right, it was the temperature sensor. They replaced it, recalibrated everything, and now the AC is working again and no more error messages! Cost me 980€ in the end. Ouch, but at least it's fixed!

Whoa, sounds familiar! I have a Partner too. I was having similar issues with my AC not working, and weird error messages popping up. Did you check for any coolant leaks? I know it sounds basic, but sometimes it's the simple stuff that throws us off. Is the engine cooling working properly?
