Partner AdBlue issues

My 2015 Peugeot Partner diesel is giving me grief. Mileage is at 247203 km. The AdBlue tank is showing as empty, even though I filled it up last week. I'm getting an error message and when I plugged it into the computer, it's storing an error related to the emissions system. To top it all off, sometimes the engine just refuses to start. I'm suspecting a defective AdBlue output from the tank to the dosing unit. Anyone seen this kind of craziness before?

Summary of the thread

Sounds like a classic case of SCR catalyst malfunction. Have you checked the AdBlue injector for blockages or leaks? Also, what's the specific error code you're getting? That could help narrow down the problem.

I'll check the injector for blockages. The error code is P20E8 - 'Reductant Injection Valve Circuit Low'. Does that change your diagnosis?

P20E8 points directly to an issue within the AdBlue delivery system, most likely the pump itself or a blockage/leak between the tank and injector. Considering the age of your Partner, the pump failing wouldn't be a surprise. I'd suggest getting it looked at by someone with the right diagnostic tools and knowledge of these systems. Could save you a lot of headaches.

I took it to a workshop and they confirmed it was a faulty AdBlue pump. Cost me 250€ for the replacement and labor, but at least it's running again. That diesel exhaust was really starting to worry me, didn't want to fail any emission standards.
