Partner Audio System Failure

My 2009 Peugeot Partner with a gasoline engine has a dead audio system. The display is dark, and there's no sound. I checked the radio and amplifier fuses, and they're fine. It also stored an error in the memory, but I don't have the code right now. Any thoughts?

I have a Partner too, and I had a similar problem. It just suddenly died one day. I fiddled with the dashboard controls and checked the car speakers, thinking maybe a wire came loose, but didn't find anything obvious.

When you say similar, do you mean the entire unit was dead, like mine? Or were there any signs of life, like a dim display or crackling sound? What exactly did you check with the car speakers?

Yeah, completely dead. Black screen, no sound. I checked the speakers by just listening closely while turning the system on and off, and messing with the volume. Figured a dodgy connection might make some noise, but honestly, I'm no expert. I ended up taking it to a workshop, and they sorted it out. Might be the best bet for you too.

Okay, it sounds like our issues are identical. The symptoms you experienced are exactly the same as what I'm currently dealing with. It seems the best course of action is to seek professional help. The workshop confirmed that the display was indeed defective and replaced it. The final repair cost came to 725€. Thanks for sharing your experience!
