Partner Electric Power Window Failure

Hello, I have a problem with my 2017 Peugeot Partner Electric. The power windows can no longer be operated. I've checked the fuses and they seem to be fine. There is also an error stored in the error memory, but I don't have the equipment to read it myself. Has anyone experienced something similar? Could it be the power window switch itself? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hey! I had something similar happen in my Partner. Those car window regulators can be real jerks sometimes. Is it making any weird noises when you try to use the window control? Like a clicking or grinding? Because for me, that regulator motor was totally shot. Those things control the window mechanism.

Thanks for the quick reply! No weird noises at all, just nothing happens when I press the buttons. Could it really be the regulator motor even if it's silent? I was kind of hoping it was just a simple switch issue.

Yeah, mine was silent too at first, then started clicking a bit before dying completely. To be honest, with the error code showing up, it's probably best to just take it to a workshop. They can properly diagnose it. It could still be the switch, but a dead regulator is also a common thing.

Okay, thanks a lot for your help! I took it to the workshop, and you were right - it was indeed the power window switch that was defective. Replacing it cost me around 200€. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction!
