Partner handsfree microphone failure

Hi, I've got a 2008 Peugeot Partner diesel with only 11744 km. Recently, the hands-free microphone stopped working. Telephony is no longer possible, and I'm seeing an error stored. Could this be just the audio input, or is it an ambient noise issue? It seems the infotainment system is defective. Has anyone else experienced similar Bluetooth issues or speech recognition problems?

Greetings! I have a Partner as well, and your problem sounds a lot like something I went through not long ago. Do you happen to notice elevated ambient noise during calls, or does the system struggle with speech recognition?

Interesting! Elevated ambient noise isn't something I've noticed specifically. Is that something you were experiencing, and did it also show as an error? Or were there other symptoms?

Indeed, I had very similar issues. After going over it for a while, I ended up taking it to a workshop. They confirmed the infotainment system was indeed the culprit.

Thanks for the info! I was hoping it wouldn't come to that, but it seems a trip to the workshop is inevitable. The repair ended up costing 815€. At least I know what to expect now!
