Partner hard starting cold

Having trouble with my 2007 Peugeot Partner (gasoline engine). It has about 60075 km on it. Lately, it's been really hard starting, and when it does start, the engine runs very poorly during the cold start phase. I suspect a faulty cold start injector, but I'm not sure how to diagnose it properly. Has anyone experienced something similar?

I had a similar issue with my Partner. Hard starting and rough idle when cold. Have you tried injector cleaner? It might help, but if it's a defective valve, it is not likely to do much. Does it misfire at all?

Thanks for the quick reply! I haven't tried injector cleaner yet. I'll add it to my list. By misfire, do you mean jerking during acceleration?

Yes, I mean jerking or hesitation during acceleration. If the injector is truly defective, injector cleaner will only provide a temporary solution, if any. I recommend having a workshop check the injection valves. It could save you from further headaches down the road.

Thank you for the advice. I took it to the workshop, and they confirmed it was a faulty injector. The repair cost me 515€, but the car runs perfectly now.
