Partner Multifunction Steering Wheel Failure
Summary of the thread
The multifunction steering wheel on a 2022 Peugeot Partner diesel is not working, and an error message is displayed in the system. The issue is suspected to be related to a sensor, but initial checks show the connections appear fine. A possible cause could be an electrical fault, specifically a cable connection issue behind the steering wheel. It is advised to have the vehicle inspected at a workshop, as a similar repair cost around 95€.

When you mention the cable connection, do you mean directly behind the steering wheel, or further down the column? Can I visually inspect it, or do I need special tools?

Mine was the connection directly behind the steering wheel. You might see something, but be careful. Based on your symptoms, I'd get it checked at a workshop. Cost me around 95€ to repair.

Understood, I appreciate your guidance. I will take it to a workshop for a thorough inspection. Knowing the likely cause and potential repair cost helps immensely. Thanks again!

Had a similar issue with my Partner. Sounds like an electrical fault in the steering wheel, maybe the cable connection. Like a kinked garden hose. Have you checked the wiring loom where it enters the steering column?
