Pathfinder AUC Sensor Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2013 Nissan Pathfinder with a diesel engine experienced a blower motor issue linked to an AUC sensor fault. The suspected cause was a bad connection. A suggestion was made to check the cable and plug connection of the sensor, which was confirmed as the issue. After professional inspection, a loose connection was identified and fixed, resolving the problem.

Thanks for the tip! Where exactly was the odor sensor located in your BMW? Did you have to remove much to get to it?

On the BMW it was buried deep behind the glove box. But since you have a Nissan Pathfinder and you suspect that 'cable or plug connection of the component defective', it's probably best just get it to the shop and have it done professionally. The sensor itself isn't crazy expensive, seems that the spare part is around 95€.

Appreciate the advice. Took it to a shop, and you were right; a loose connection was the culprit. They fixed the AUC sensor cable and all good now.

Sounds familiar! I had a similar HVAC issue with my older BMW. The odor sensor cable was loose. Check the cable and plug connection of the sensor. Could save you a ton of time and money!
