Pathfinder Fresh Air Blower Not Working

My 2012 Nissan Pathfinder with a gasoline engine has a problem with the fresh air blower. It's not working. The climate control panel lights up, but no air is blowing, and there's an error code stored. I've checked the fuses, and they seem fine. Any ideas?

I had a similar issue with my Pathfinder a while back. Check the blower motor resistor. It's a common failure point that can cause the blower to stop working, even if the fuses are okay. Does it work on any speed setting, even high?

Thanks for the tip! Where exactly is the blower motor resistor located? And no, the blower motor does not work on any speed setting at all. It's completely dead.

Okay, since it's dead on all speeds, it might not be the resistor then, sorry. In my case the fan was still working on the highest speed. The resistor is usually near the blower motor, under the dash on the passenger side. But if it's not working on any speed, and you've checked the fuses, it's most likely a defective blower motor. Probably best to get it checked out by a workshop.

Thanks a lot for your help! I took it to a workshop, and you were right, it was the blower motor. The replacement plus labor cost me 365€. At least it's fixed now.
