Pathfinder Hybrid Engine Mount Defect

My 2021 Nissan Pathfinder Hybrid with 127k km is throwing codes and idling rough. The error memory is full. I suspect a defective engine mount. The cable or plug connection looks suspect. Anyone seen this? Could the transmission mount also be affected?

A defective engine mount on a 2021 Pathfinder already? That's frustrating, especially with a hybrid engine. The uneven idling and error codes point towards a motor mount issue. Has the car been driven hard, perhaps with frequent off-roading or heavy towing? That could accelerate mount wear.

Hard driving? I wouldn't say I'm rock crawling every weekend, but it does see its fair share of gravel roads. And I've towed my boat a few times. Could a defective plug connection really cause all this, or am I missing something?

While a loose or defective plug connection is a possibility, it's unlikely to be the root cause of significant engine mount failure. Given the symptoms and mileage, I'd lean towards actual mount wear, possibly accelerated by the towing. I'd recommend a workshop visit, even a temporary repair could be costly.

Thanks, that confirms my suspicions. I'll take it to the workshop and get it checked out. Turns out the engine mount was indeed defective. They replaced the mount and fixed the connector. It cost me about 95€.
