Patrol diesel particulate filter pressure issue

Hey, I had something similar happen with my Patrol (diesel as well). Those symptoms point to more than just the sensor, but it's a good place to start. Did you check the sensor's wiring and connections? A loose or corroded connector can sometimes trigger false readings. Also, have you checked for any exhaust leaks before the DPF? Even a small leak messes with the pressure readings.

Yeah, after eliminating the obvious stuff like wiring and leaks, the sensor is the most probable cause. The sensor itself might be faulty, or the DPF could be clogged beyond what the system can handle. I ended up just taking mine to the workshop. Replacing the sensor fixed it, but they also did a forced regen just to be sure. Cost me about 245€ if that helps.
