Patrol faulty clutch pedal switch

I own a 2017 Nissan Patrol with a gasoline engine and I'm experiencing a faulty clutch pedal switch. The symptoms include an error stored in the error memory, the gear selection display in the speedometer is non-functional, the cruise control is inoperative, and the engine won't start. I suspect a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone encountered a similar problem?

Whoa, sounds familiar! I had almost the EXACT same issue with my Patrol. The cruise control thing was driving me nuts. For me, the error codes were all over the place, making it hard to pinpoint. I fiddled with some of the wiring, thinking it might be a loose connection, but no luck. Did you check all the related fuses? That's the first thing I should have done!

Thank you for your response. I have checked the fuses and they appear to be in working order. Could you elaborate on which wiring you inspected?

Right, fuses are good, got it. Okay, so I mostly focused on the wiring harness around the clutch pedal itself, especially where it connects to the switch. Honestly, I wasn't really sure what I was doing. I figured it was either a loose wire or a bad switch. Eventually, I gave up and took it to a workshop. They sorted it out pretty quickly. Probably the best course of action for you too.

I appreciate the advice. Based on your experience, I will take the vehicle to a workshop for professional diagnosis and repair. The estimated cost is 95€.
