Peugeot 1007 Sun Blind Failure

Sun blind defective on my Peugeot 1007 (2006, gasoline engine). It's getting stuck and there's an error code. Sounds like the motor. Anyone else had this?

Sounds familiar! My 1007's sun visor went bonkers last year. Was it making any funny noises before it died? Like grinding or clicking?

Yes, there was an intermittent clicking sound before it failed completely. Did you fix it yourself, or take it to a workshop?

No way I was touching that! Too many wires. I took it to a garage. They said it was the motor and swapped it. Cost a fortune, but at least I've got sun protection again. You should go there as well.

I'll take it to a workshop for assessment. The 330€ repair cost seems unavoidable. Thanks for sharing your experience.
