Peugeot 106 Cylinder Pressure Fluctuation

I haven't inspected the fuel injectors or crankshaft position sensor yet. The check engine light went off before I could scan the error codes. Could a faulty crankshaft position sensor realistically cause such a significant pressure fluctuation, or is it more likely a fuel injector issue?

It's tough to say without the codes. A dodgy crankshaft sensor can mess with engine timing, which could impact cylinder pressure. Seeing as the light is off again, it could be intermittent. I'd still recommend getting it hooked up to a diagnostic tool asap to see if it stored any codes. I'd take it to a trusted workshop to have them take a look before you start replacing parts.

I took the vehicle to a workshop. The issue was a consequential error resulting from another error. The error has been fixed and the pressure fluctuation is gone. Thanks for your support. The repair cost was 0€.

Sounds familiar! I had a similar issue with my 106: check engine light, sluggish performance. Have you looked at your fuel injectors? They can cause havoc with cylinder pressure if they're not spraying properly. Has the crankshaft position sensor been checked? That can throw things off too. What codes is the check engine light throwing?
