The fuel filter was changed about 5000 km ago. Regarding the 'bad batch of fuel' you mentioned - does that usually cause the check engine light to illuminate, as well as trigger these other issues?

Yes, definitely. Although, considering the symptoms combined with the engine light, the fuel pressure sensor itself, or more likely its cable or plug connection, is a strong possibility. If you can't easily check the connector, maybe get a diagnostic at a workshop.

Thanks for the advice! It turned out to be a defective cable to the fuel pressure sensor, as you suspected. Repair cost 95€. Everything is running smoothly now.

Sounds like a fuel delivery issue. Has the fuel filter been changed recently? It could also be a bad batch of fuel. When did the symptoms start?
