Peugeot 106 seat heater problem

Hey, my 2003 Peugeot 106 with a gasoline engine has a seat heater issue. It doesn't get warm at all, and I found an error stored in the memory. Mileage is at 157736 km. Any ideas?

Hello. I had a similar problem with my Opel Astra. The seat heating also remained cold, and the error memory indicated a defect. Have you already checked the fuses or the wiring under the seat? It could also be a defective seat heating mat.

Thanks for the tip. I haven't checked the fuses or wiring yet. Where exactly are the fuses located, and what should I look for when checking the wiring?

In my Astra, the fuses for the seat heating were in the fuse box in the engine compartment. Check the wiring under the seat for breaks or loose connections. However, given the symptoms and the error message, it is probably the heating mat itself. I would recommend visiting a workshop to be sure.

Okay, thanks for the help. I took it to the workshop, and they confirmed it's the seat heating mat. Repair will cost around 390€. Appreciate your advice!
