Peugeot 106 Washer Fluid Warning

I've got a 2001 Peugeot 106 diesel with 111396 km on the clock. Recently, I've been getting a 'washer fluid low' warning, even when the reservoir is full. The windshield washer system isn't working at all now. I've checked the spray jets for blockages, and they seem clear. There's also an error stored in the error memory, but I don't have the exact code right now. Could it be the washer motor itself, or something else?

I had a similar issue with my 106. I'd check the pump. They can be temperamental and sometimes throw false errors before packing in completely.

Thanks for the tip! Was it a difficult job to replace the pump? And did the 'washer fluid low' warning disappear after you replaced it, or was there something else involved?

Yeah, sounds like the pump. I messed about trying to fix mine for ages but eventually just bit the bullet and went to a local workshop. Much easier than trying to DIY in my opinion.

Okay, thanks for the advice! I took it to a mechanic, and it turned out to be a faulty washer motor, just as you suspected. Replacement cost me 25€, and the warning light is now gone. Appreciate your help!
